This 4-week module, designed for back office staff, concentrates on patient flow from the exam room to the treatment and surgery areas of the practice. The 3 primary functions of the veterinary back office are to:
- Create a smooth and efficient flow of the pet through the practice
- Maximize client perception of value of the medical services their pet receives
- Increase client compliance
These functions are a direct result of following established protocols, or operational guidelines, on patient care and client communications. While these protocols may or may not be fully developed at the practice, these courses help team members to understand the critical factors and methods to follow to achieve the above primary functions.
